(no subject)
-I mentioned before that my cousin Melissa and her husband are expecting a baby in June. Well, yesterday she found out it's a girl. Yay. Casey wasn't too thrilled about that news because as far as cousins go, she thinks Lily is the most annoying of them all, and the boys are more tolerable. LOL, that's probably because Lily is only 5 and the boys are closer to her age. Poor Lily... Casey is her hero.
Anyway, this is crazy, me and Melissa being moms. We used to have giggly sleepovers, watch Bozo the Clown together and play school (she desperately wanted to be a teacher when we were little, but she's actually a nurse now). When did we grow up all of a sudden?
-Willow spent most of the evening last night puking all over the house and then trying to eat it. Frantically trying, as if her life depended on it. I had to lock her in the bathroom so I could clean up without her bugging me. She yacked on the doormat at one point, so I put it outside and hosed it off. Well, later when I took her outside she saw that there were... um... remnants in the lawn and she just HAD to have them. I dragged her in the house and then she sat by the door and whined. Luckily it was pretty late by then, so I just locked her up in the kitchen (as usual) and went to bed. This morning as soon as I came downstairs, she was at it again. JEEZ. She even refused to come upstairs with me to wake Casey up because she wouldn't leave her post at the door. At least it's rainy today, so maybe all that stuff will wash away and she'll forget about it.
-Weekend plans: Tomorrow afternoon Casey is working at a cookie booth, and then we're meeting Beth and Renee for dinner at Fridays Front Row. The main idea is to get Renee the cookies she ordered, but I always love spending time with my girls. Sunday Casey is Altar Serving in church, and then she's been invited to go to Busch Gardens with some friends. I'm working on getting her a ticket, because if I can't she can't go. Too expensive. I didn't get much notice.... I was only told it was a possibility on Wednesday and didn't know it was for sure until last night.
Anyway, that's pretty much it. I'm going to try to get some things knocked off my to do list, and I also desperately need a hair cut and color. I bought the color last night (intense auburn) and will do that myself, but I have to get with my brother to find out if and when he can cut our hair. He quit Supercuts and now works at some other place, so I have to find out if he can still do free haircuts there, or if not maybe he can just do it at home.
