(no subject)
My dad's doing okay. Nobody bothered to call and tell me that, so I finally called the house at 12:30. Turns out they were at the ER for 7 hours, and then the doctor had no idea why my dad was having fever. He has always been like that though... he gets random fevers and no other syptoms and then it goes away. They said he just has a really strong immune system that fights like hell when an infection tries to get in there. Anyway, they didn't get home until 1 AM or something.
Even though they got home late and then my mom had trouble sleeping, she still went to work today. Most likely she was going to call me with an update on my dad, but she's probably really busy. She missed a week when we were on the cruise, then she was out the day of my dad's surgery and then the next day she was sick. So yeah, probably lots of catching up to do. I've tried to call her a few times but haven't been able to reach her. I want to know how she's feeling and see what's going on with my dad (she will know more than him... he's always confused about everything).
Anyway, I made the mistake of calling my dad while I was eating lunch. Not only did he go on and on (while I tried to eat but not be rude and make eating sounds into the phone), but when I asked if he was in any pain from his surgery, he went into a very detailed description of his urinating issues. LOL, TMI dad.
