"Passengers" is SO GREAT!!!
I finally was able to watch "Passengers" yesterday, which I've been trying to see for months. It wasn't released where I live in the US and it finally came out on DVD last week!!! :D I've now seen 6 of Patrick Wilson's films!!! <3 And another of Anne Hathaway's, who is just AWESOME!!! :D Plus, being a LOST fan I noticed some similarties with this movie and the show!!! ;) The plot is sort of similiar with a group of people surviving a plane crash and then some weird things starting to happen!!! :D Just this took place in I think LA, when LOST was mainly on the Island. ;) But I quickly got into this and LOVED it!!! <3
I LOVED the relaionship between Eric (Patrick) and Claire (Anne)!!! <3 They both did GREAT jobs and I really liked how they fell in love!!! :D From the first moment after the crash and Eric is walking around the wreckage it SO reminded me of when Jack on LOST first did too!!! ;) Then when people started dissapering and it looked like the airline was covering things up and then strange things started happening to the surivors, I was SO getting a LOST vibe!!! ;) Plus, even though Claire was the doctor in this one, the relationship between Eric and Claire SO reminded me of Jack and Kate on LOST!!! <3 LOVED it!!! :D
The twist at the end was SO unexpected!!! :O I totally didn't think all the characters where dead and that Claire really was on the plane!!! :D I had to rewatch a 2nd time to find all the little hints!!! ;) Plus, the fact that everyone had people visit them who had also passed on and to help them except what happened and move on in the afterlife. :D I remember back when LOST started people thought that's what the show was originally about. LOST ended up NOT being purgetory, but that was really great how Passengers did!!! :D Plus, that Eric and Claire found each other on the plane and were able to have a relationship in the afterlife was really great too!!! <3
I LOVED this film and it's totally one I can rewatch and enjoy!!! :D
