It's Happened Again!!!
Yes, it's happened to me again. LOL Remember how I said I immediately fell for Jon Hamm when I saw him on Saturday Night Live back in October??? And now I've watched Mad Men, 30 Rock, and am checking out his movie now. Well, I've found another new fav actor!!! ;)
Patrick Wilson
As you have seen me posting things for Watchmen, which is one of the BEST novels and films, you might be getting a hint at where I'm going with this. LOL That's when I first saw Patrick as my FAV character in Watchmen Dan aka Nite Owl II!!! :) I LOVE seeing him as Dan and he did such a GREAT job!!! :D Loved seeing him all cute and nerdy as Dan, then all heroic as Nite Owl!!! <3 So I started to fall for the actor. LOL ;) Now I've got 3 actors who have this effect on me. Foxy, Jon, and Patrick!!! <3
This lead to me watching Lakeview Terrace, which was a really great suspensefull thriller and Patrick was really great in it trying to protect his wife from Samuel L. Jackson!!! :D I thought it was going to be a horror, but it wasn't. It was pretty good. :)
Then this past Sunday Patrick did a guest-voice on American Dad and it was halarious!!! :D SO funny hearing him on an animated show and the character looked like him!!! LOL ;) Plus, he got to sing again!!! <3
Speaking of his singing, Patrick is also well known for his role as Raoul in Phantom of the Opera!!! :D I caught most of it yesterday morning and he was GREAT in it and his singing voice!!! <3 Wow!!! :D He's been in a LOT of Broadway musicals and plays too. I've heard about him in Little Children with Kate Winslet and Jackie Earl Haley (who plays Rorschach in Watchmen with Patrick), as well as Hard Candy. And I really want to see his movie with Anne Hathaway called Passengers, which oddly reminds me of LOST. ;) Plus, he has some really good projects coming up like The Baster with Jennifer Anniston and Jason Bateman!!! :D I can't wait to see it and what other movies and projects Patrick does next!!! :D
But still to me he'll always be Dan!!! <3 And my other fav superhero, behind Batman. ;) LOL
