update on tk
thanks for the good wishes today. tk saw the doctor tonight and he does have a bad infection. the doctor put him on heavy duty antibiotics and he's not allowed to wear his brace until his foot is better. which presents a challenge because he can't really walk without it. i'm calling the school in the morning to see if they have a spare wheelchair. he sees the physical therapist at 11:30 to have the brace adjusted and i'm hoping the pt will give us a prescription for crutches. then at 3:40 tk goes back to the doctor to have his foot rechecked. tk is kind of bummed because there are a bunch of outdoor field trips (like snow showing) his class is supposed to go on next week and i don't think he can go now. suck.
my mom also fell down today and she wasn't wearing her neck brace. her fingers have started going numb (which happened before the surgery) so we're hoping the fusion didn't get messed up.
so. yeah.
aaaand i pretty much burst into tears while tk and i were watching the end of peter pan (2003 live action version which is absolutely gorgeous).
on the plus side: sword fights with crutches!!!1
