Birthday thoughts
Well, another birthday has come and gone. I had a real nice one this year. I received a cool Motley Crue t-shirt, NY Mets t-shirt and hat, Sabres jacket and a whole bunch of things from my students. Seriously, I don't remember giving my teachers gifts when I was in school, so I honestly don't know why teachers receive them now. I'm not complaining, but it's nice that they do. I really didn't think about now being 2 years before i'm 30, because it doesn't really matter to me, but one of my students told me that i'm now only 12 years until i'm 40. YIKES!!!! That one hurt. I never looked at it that way before, but I guess it's true. Oh well, let the countdown begin, only 364 until i'm 29.
I have my first race this Saturday at Buffalo State College. I've been running for a little bit now, and my legs have been sore. We'll see how I do on Saturday.
