It's been a long time...
I thought the Sabres did well at the trade deadline with the deals they made. I am sorry to see that Biron was traded, but he had to because of his contract. Will he be back by this summer? Who knows...maybe he'll take a pay cut to come back? BTW, he does look odd wearing another team's jersey. Good for the local boy too. At first, I was starting to get sick and tired of hearing all about our hometown boy this, and our hometown boy that, but he plays hard, and as long as he plays hard, he'll be ok with me. Kudos for the boys for playing hard with all of the injury's they've had. Now the pressure is on Miller. He has no excuse now, and he needs to perform. Yes, that's coming from a Miller fan too!
Glad to see droopy eyes, looking like he just smoked some pot Nate Clements gone. The "playmaker" will now become lazy with his richest contract in the NFL. Seriously, he didn't even make the Pro Bowl this past year, and he becomes the richest player in NFL history now? That doesn't make sense. Good for Marv for not resigning him. I'm upset that London Fletcher is gone. He was the heart and sole of the team. He hasn't missed a game in his entire career. That's quite good for a NFL player.
Did some shopping today even when I wasn't really planning on it. First, bought new golf clubs. Now, I'm not one of those golfers who buys new expensive clubs because they think they will improve their scores. It's not the clubs, it's the golfers. Also, the tie guy is back at the Eastern Hills Mall. He has a deal where it's buy two ties for $17. I got a great deal because I bought a Halloween tie and a Dr. Seuss tie which is a reversible tie, so basically, three for two. Not bad.
I also went a few weeks back and bought with Melissa's dad a new pair of running shoes. I went with the Sultan of sneakers because he knows a whole hell of a lot more than I do. Got a great deal with those as well. I bought my first running outfit today as well.
I could go on for awhile more, but i'm getting sleepy. Good night.
