When I say walk away, what I really mean is run...

I would kill my peripheral vision if I could,
that I may not be distracted by the smiles of arrogant men.

I cannot trust, I cannot fear
so I falter here, because I must,
I bury here, what's turned to rust,
I tarry there; I'm dust and fear.
But you are near, inside this fear,
which then combusts to meaningless tears.
I'm a butterfly with broken wings and better things to come.
I'm done.
Is there anything new under the sun?

I wake up; I run; I make up this pun;
I take up my cross, and then my gun.
I've lost the battle before it's begun
Never alone, not my home, not my son.

I break and I bend; My tears I send
on a silver wing to heaven
So when you die, take these tears from my eyes
and do not epitomize... my pain
For loss or selfish gain
cause when you are gone, I'll still remain.
mildly insane
slightly passive and horribly feigned
I break and you bend;
I lose and you win
In the end
My love and my friend.
