Bowling!

I haven't been bowling in ages and wanted to go with a bunch of friends this weekend. We live in Amherst. I checked out some of the bigger ones I knew of, like Transit Lanes and AMF, but... I didn't realize you could be paying up to $4.25 a game for bowling on a Saturday night nowadays? I know I haven't gone in awhile, but I thought I remembered

I went to the Thruway lanes a couple weeks ago for Midnight Bowling.. it was $13 to bowl and that included shoes. And to just watch they charged a $10 spectator fee! It was nuts! $10 to just watch! I'm glad I at least bowled!

It was.. My friend couldn't bowl and they made her pay $10 just to watch us! That's almost as much as bowling with the shoe rental itself. I don't know how they can get away with that!

According to thier website Transit Lanes has Monday and Thursday nights 75 cent games from 10pm to 2am.

Thanks, looks like that's the cheapest I've seen yet... it's too bad that the one night everyone was free is Saturday night, the one night there's never any specials... figures !
