sad days
I know it's been a while since I posted here, due to spending most weekends here helping with my dad during his tough fight with lung cancer. For those of you who have been following along, I wanted to let you know that he's at rest now. He passed away this past Wednesday night, at his own home, with all of us there.
He was a brave man as a firefighter, and an even braver one as a patient. Thanks again to everyone who has supported us with lots of love and kind words. We appreciate it more than you could ever know, especially now.
