Work called, we are officially closed today! Now back to bed to get some sleep...

Well, just got a phone call from the front desk receptionist at work - no work for the rest of the week. As of right now, we won't be open until next Monday. Given that my office is *right* near the edge of the burn zone in RB, it may be longer - it will depend on when they start letting people back into the area.

Posted last night and within 12 hours (most of them non-business hours) received first nibble. And it sounds like a really *good* nibble.

Thanks to the cold I came down with yesterday, I came home sick today. Going to try and get some more sleep and hopefully feel better.

Yesterday I found out how much my bonus at work is going to be... Enough that I can afford to get myself a new laptop!!!! One of my cousins works at the Apple Store in Fashion Valley, so he will be ordering it for me (and getting me a discount) next week after the bonus hits my bank account (and before his last day working there, the 17th ( Read more... )

I love my (relatively new) manager at work. She told me on Thursday morning that I was getting a raise. Not a huge one, but every little bit helps. And it was effective as of this last Monday (the first day of the new pay period)!
