I received an acceptance letter yesterday afternoon into the Professional M.S. Program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie-Mellon University, via FedEx overnight mail. The bad news: no sign of any financial support. I'd always heard CMU is really hard to get funded to, so I'm not overly surprised. I'm excited, but muted about it. I was surprised to get a letter so soon. Now, I await decisions from McGill and MIT; hopefully, they will offer more generous financial aid packages.
I feel weird; I should be more excited than how I actually feel now. I mean, I GOT IN! I can't explain. I think I'm just kinda taken off-guard that these things are happening so quickly already.
