when do I get to call myself a grown up?
My birthday is on Sunday - only a couple days away. I probably wont post again til after then so I just thought I'd throw that in there. I'll be 20. woot woot. It's gonna be a busy next couple of days. I'm getting a digital camera from my mom, I'm so excited. Mine's seriously a dinosaur! it's huge and the batteries die way too fast. Dad's gonna give me 200 dollars to buy a sewing machine because I've been sewing a lot. Grandma's buying me "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult, that I've been dying to read and probably something else. Everything else will be a surprise.
Thursday - School from 9:30 -5:00. Quiz in algebra, blah. Thursdays are biology lab days, BORING. Jon's pay day. My digital camera from my mommy gets here.
Friday- Jon's gonna take me to pick something out for a birthday present. Maybe go out to eat?
Saturday - going to the stockyard hopefully. Go over to his parent's house for dinner and an ICE CREAM CAKE! yes! haha...
Sunday - the BIG day! Going up to Slade. Probably/Hopefully, gonna rent a cabin around the red river gorge and party down with my friends. Hopefully all the tick-lickians have Monday off or it will just be the four of us: me and jon, matt and sarah.
Monday - Labor day. Jon has off work. His parents will probably have a cook out, so we'll probably go back over there.
Not to mention that Founder's day weekend started today. So stuff will be going on around the historical society all weekend. Will probably have to visit and see what's going on.
Other than that - school's fine. We're doing factoring in intermediate algebra that I ABSOLUTELY hate. I had to stop because I couldn't stop cheating and looking at the answers in the back of the book. It just sucks because it's trial and error and unless you practice A LOT and figure out the rules, it can take 5 minutes to do one damn problem. *sigh* I'll manage.
I've gotten in the habit of writing before bed. It makes me happy because I'm not taking any english classes this semester. I love english. If I wasn't getting a ba in human services, I'd get it in english, or something.
Anyway, I gotta get up in 6 hours. Nothing new, but I better go try and go to bed. Love you all!
