oblivious to oblivion

dark, silent, beautiful. so little of us can grasp the idea of complete oblivion. is it nothing or is it everything falling in a psychotic spiral proving once again that human-kind destroys itself. hopefully one day all of the human race will really destroy itself. then nothing would be left except the peace of the world without the interfearence of humans and the contemplation of the gods to decide what to do about the absence of their mistake creation. shall they birth a new race of humanoids and try to start all over again, or will they perhaps decided to create something better, something that when it evolves won't turn to destruction for their own personal needs. as i'm ranting on with this dissertation of a mad man, and if you're even reading this, whoever you unfortunate person is, think of something that you hold dearest in your soul, not just your heart, but something, anything, that touches your soul and you cannot conceive of your life without its existence among you. now try if you can to envision how your life would be, how you would be as a living one of this world, and decide if you would rather be stuck to this soul grasping effect and not know anything else, or let it go and finally be able to breathe. most people spend their lives grasping to a stone that they are too stubborn or too enthralled to let go of. yet they do not realize that it is sinking them down with it into the deep dar depths of, well, oblivion. try, if you can at all, try to let go of the stone that so holds you down. then, if you succeed in releasing this that constrains your life, you can swim your way to the top and breathe and bask in the light of the sun that you've so forgotten. take these words carefully, if you understand them at all, and imagine your life as if you weren't sinking unknowingly into the oblivious deep where the lost are trapped.
