500 days of Summer was an incredible movie and I hope everyone sees it at some point in their life. It really says all the things that friends should say to eachother but are too scared to. If you have not seen it DO.
Anyways,back to the real world. I'm sorry I've been M.I.A. all week. Work's been pretty busy and I have a sinus infection and I was chilling with Shannon quite a lot. But apparently a few people from my friends list have also been missing this past week. so what's happened since monday...well...
Tuesday:Me and Shannon were both off so the plan was to wake up early and go to Ellicott City to go Christmas shopping...that was the plan...the plan was an epic failure...the problem was we stayed up watching Bones all monday night so we didn't get up till eleven then we spent two hours online. So we went to my house to see if her boss's birthday present had arrived yet so I could give it to him. side note: her boss is one of my ex boyfriend (which will be important for wednesday) and his name is Brad. We're still friends though. Well...my dad failed to mention that the mail box key was lost so we couldn't check the mail. But since we were already there we went to my favorite restuarant in the world. It's called "La Fiesta" and it's fucking delicious! Then we went back to Shannon's house watched some more Bones and went to bed.
Wednesday:I had work at eight fifteen so I took Shannon to work. I was supposed to meet Brad in between getting off work and picking up Shannon. Well...Brad's present was at my house so I would have to go home first. I got off at three fifteen, we were gonna meet at four. The irritating part of wednesday was Shannon texting me saying "I know this is going to sound bad but don't kiss Brad." ...I was pretty enraged at this point in time. Because 1.Brad has a girlfriend and I don't try and steal people's boyfriends and 2. I broke up with Brad not the other way around if I wanted him I wouldnt have dumped him. But yeah it was pretty bad. But after talking to Shannon she explained that she thought there was still chemistry between us and wanted me to know that it was a possibility. So that was alright, I ended up getting out late so I couldn't give it to him anyways. But Shannon and I went over to Spanky's (he's our piercing artist) and got her tongue pierced. It looks really good! =] It was over in a matter of seconds and she said it didn't hurt at all. She did talk with a lisp which was hilarious! And i hope she still has it cause it's so much fun to make fun of lol. Then we went back to her place and watched FIGHT CLUB! God i love that movie so much ^-^
Thursday:Ah the infamous Thanksgiving, ironically I enjoy holidays much more when I don't have to see my mom's side of the family =] (which I didn't have to if you didn't catch my drift). I went to "The Officer's Club" of some naval base in Solomon's Island with my Dad, Grandpe and Grandma. It was only a few of us this year, normally there are a lot more but everybody was busy. I actually preferred it this way. I really like my Garndma Doris (she's my grandma by marriage so we're not actualyl related) but we have a lot in common. She likes to tell me about acting and I really like acting so it works out. AND I found out she's like three fourths Irish so ofcourse I wanted to talk to her about that lol. I also found out that my Granpe is a fourth Irish which makes me an eighth on my dad's side if I'm not mistaken. That's a BIG deal to me cause I love Ireland and I didn't think I was Irish at all. So that was a fun realization. It was a good meal too. =] Then we went to Big Lots and my Granpe helped me pick out a watch. I love them. They accept me for me and they wouldn't want me any other way ^-^ After lunch with them I went over the cheesegirl33 's house for dinner. I couldn't eat anything cause I thought I might die but I'm still really glad I went. I hung in the livingroom with the kids and watched a few random things. Then we ate dessert which is my favorite part of Thanksgiving! Then we watched Star Wars (the first movie) which I had never seen. I know it's sad right? lol. But that was a lot of fun. And we watched an episode of Veronica Mars and Me and cheesegirl33 ended up just chilling and talking a lot of the night. We didn't get to bed till twelve. Which was not a good plan cause we woke up at 3 to go Black Friday shopping. It was a lot of fun, she had never been before. We were pretty efficiant and I got a lot of cool stuff. ^-^ After shopping we went to "Chick & Ruth's" which is an amazing diner =] It was delicious. Then I had to work =[ and I felt so sick the rest of the day that I went to sleep at 6. I know I'm a loser lol. And that brings us to today which I'm at work obviously.
And that's that. OH and my December icons will be coming sometime this wekend so be prepared =] I'll try and stay more in touch next week. Have a good weekend!
