Gatta Be Quick
Hey, I gatta be quick, only 7 minutes until I have to go to work.
so Thursday we played in Pittsburgh at Howler's with HotChaCha and Spinster. It made me feel like a real rock star. we got there and we were the first band there even though we were late. we loaded on the stage and later spintster got there. all girls, two looked kind of old and rugged and one younger and prettier. they loaded in and decided that we should go first. so we set up and sound checked. The place was absolutely empty, even though we promoted the shit out of the show so I was kind of funky, and our weed sucked. so I was weird all night. so we played first to pretty much only the bands. we did play really good. I don't think I made any mistakes and nothing broke. after the last song, "paralysis by analysis" the booker joe was just so amazed. like she was just screaming and saying it was the best thing she's every see. The girls in spinster and hotchacha were the same way, they were all just blown away., Joe says she wants to book us on the biggest night she has, so i'm pretty excited. I sold more cd's that night then I have so far all together in youngstown. COOL. after the show we smoked with one of the girls from spinster, kris and she said she could get us some hash, so we went with her and hotchacha to a couple bars looking for that. then we went to kris's house and smoked has and ate this limegreenn DANKASS butter. hotchacha all went to bed pretty early. the whole night was so surreal because hotchacha are like a real band, on a lable, making independent music kind of like us, and they were telling us we were going to be able to quit our day jobs and saying they go around the country and nothing can touch what we do. that really makes me feel good!.
so we partied and saturday we went to winfield's party in rogers. fillmore jive played. i was kind of wierd all night because we didn't have much smoke. we played good, but my strings got fucked up in the middle and we had to stop. i do have to say, we had a pretty big crowd watching us. the night was sort of fun. i drank some jungle juice and whiskey and felt that for a little. didn't stay up too late. the next day we hund out with doug and sean and album all dayl. went in the woods. fun. then we went to see album last night. we bought a new bowl and wqe were just smoking with everyone. it was fun, finally have good grass!. ALBUM were real sweet. their last song was real epic. i feel kind of good, i feel like i have affected album. like i feel they are really trying now, and before they didn't, because all of the other bands around sucked. we went to siera's after to party, i fell asleep early. something about winfield getting pussy put on his forhead.
