What: Ahoy there, air bubbles.
Where: Lakeside
When: A few days after Crona's bubble post
After finally seeing Crona's post on the BBS, Mikuru had gone to inspect the bubbles herself. It was definitely odd that they were floating - and where were they heading? - but they seemed harmless enough; they popped when she poked them and it wasn't like they were made of acid or even popped very loudly.
Which, she thought, made them perfect for target practice. Maybe that evil alien was gone, and maybe the Itsuki here normally wasn't the one she was sworn to protect, but seeing the one she knew, even just briefly, had strengthened her resolve to at least get stronger for him, even if he wasn't here himself. And this way, she wouldn't hurt anyone or damage any property like that door in the labs she still hadn't managed to fix.
As she watched the bubbles rise into the sky, she chose one in particular to focus on.
"Mikuru Beam!"
A laser beam erupted from her left eye and struck the bubble, popping it. This was shaping up to be something of a light show.
