Who: (NPC) Tamsin, OPEN
What: The young and inexperienced Tamsin received an unexpected promotion during her last briefing. She has been sent into the Void to act as a liaison between the unexpected residents and her employers. Unfortunately, she wasn't paying attention at all during said briefing, and has no idea what she's here for. Can you help her get to the Overseer's office?
Where: The laboratory.
When: After
this thread | Approximately four weeks after the sky was repaired.
Post is OPEN. Let's try to keep everything to the one thread - no posting order, so just post at will. I will start tagging with Tamsin tomorrow, so feel free to thread out a "search party" prior to meeting her :3
At this point, Tamsin was absolutely fed up of being stuck in this laboratory. The place was maze-like to someone with her poor sense of direction, and she could hardly believe that here, up was the way out. Even finding the stairs to the next floor was a challenge! Even Tamsin could tell that whoever had built this place was a rather poor architect - and Tamsin was also pretty sure most of the labs had never once been used.
To make matters worse, she had misplaced both her teleportation unit and her helmet. The coworkers she had arrived with were nowhere to be found either - she had a tracker on her, so it was reasonable to think they could find her, but now it had been weeks and it looked, to Tamsin, as though they had not even tried. It was only out of desperation, when the last of those little nutritional pills had been taken, relieved that a few of the labs had a water supply, she had resorted to using those tremendously outdated BBS terminals in an attempt to contact her missing coworkers.
"Stupid thing!" she had whined at the machine when, to her horror, she made contact not with her coworkers, but instead the strange people who had appeared here. Some wanted to 'rescue' her, apparently, but hadn't they been told to teleport away from them in case they were dangerous? Tamsin wasn't quite certain if that was in their briefing this time, having been focused entirely on a (rather brilliant, in her opinion) abstract doodle.
Still, however, she reluctantly agreed to accept help from the strange people. After all, she couldn't do much else.
"Fred's going to kill me..."
Not sure what to expect, Tamsin plonked herself down on the floor, pulled out that tiny notebook that went everywhere with her, and began to doodle all over the notes from the last staff meeting. If she wanted to be found, she had to stay put, after all.
