i have a few things to say... like multiple update-style... but i'm definitely going to start with one of the gooder stuff in life today, cause gooder stuff is good, and if i'm going to share anything, i want it to be good.
i drove mommy to work this morning so i could have her car.
then i came home and took a nap :-D
and then i went back and mommy took me out for lunch at this mexican place in chanhassen - rey aztecas. kinda like los aztecas in dubuque, but not quite as good (close though).
then she took me to kowalsky's market for the first time... it's like byerley's, only smaller and with more interesting things.
then i went to the mall and pretty much finished my christmas shopping... at least for the fam.
then i went back to church and played the grand piano for a while, and pastor paul heard me playing some elton john and came in and sang with me :-D
and then i went to work at 6.
and i worked for 5.75 hours
having already worked 31.25 hours this week
so that means i can work 3 hours tomorrow.
hardly seems worth it, but you know.
oh, and i definitely have a quote from when we were zoning the one-spot after close tonight
"Oh, I get it. Look! I'm a pen!"

by the time 11:30 rolled around, we were all losing our minds... which is probably why it seemed so damn funny at the time...
i heard this christmas song on the radio today
it made me smile, and kinda want to cry
I'm a man of reason, and they say "'Tis the season to be jolly"
But it's folly when you volley for position

the moment i fell in love with my new hair product combo:
i woke up this morning,
having washed my hair before work yesterday,
then walked to work, wearing a scarf,
then worked as a cart attendant for a fair portion of the day, wearing a hat,
then slept on my hair,
and i ran my fingers through it.
that's right... before i even brushed it this morning, i could run my fingers through it.

i guess i don't know if that qualifies for "gooder stuff", but it did make life interesting.
it was an 87-year-old russian woman (?!?)
apparently she is (was) a regular in our store - always took the southwest metro bus to do her shopping
but we found out that she actually lives 4 blocks from the minnetonka supertarget
uhm... yeah... can't imagine why she came all this way to shop
oh wait
it's probably because she didn't feel comfy shoplifting in the neighborhood store.
$98 worth of merchandise, and it was mostly small stuff
but she was being really friggin dumb about it
like
putting stuff in her bag under her coat and continuously messing with the coat
putting stuff in tupperware
stuffing random shit into other random shit (i.e. almonds in margarita mix (?!?))
and finally taking the whole damn cart into the restroom after checking out (and she went through the lane of a kid who was training... i hope he doesn't know, cause that could kinda suck on the first day)
so, yeah, she got caught
and if she comes onto target property she can be arrested for trespassing

i should go steal my mom's car and run to the atm
cause if i don't do it now, i won't get a chance
ever
well... not for a while

cause i'm on foot tomorrow :-P
and when i get back i think i'm gonna have some ice cream
