you are the boy. there aren't really any other boys. i figured "the boy" was sufficient.
it was on "three's company". in case you don't really know the plot (i kind of assume you don't... unless you're more up on your oldies tv than you are on oldies music), jack is living with two girls and telling the landlord that he's gay so he will allow it. mr. roper (landlord) was starting to doubt his sexuality (jack really is quite a ladies' man and very not gay, despite his martha-esque-ness). he concluded he was straight and went upstairs to throw him out. he had been upstairs cooking dinner for roommate chrisy and her date, but her date was more interested in the food than her. mr. roper found her in the living room upset that jack had "stolen her date". he went in the kitchen and found the two of them discussing culinary arts. he then realized that jack really was gay, and didn't throw him out.
that sounds a lot less funny without all the sexual innuendos. it was funny. believe me.
