Taking the day off from the meme to deal with life. Because, yes, I totally need the extra stress. I really wanted to get up this morning to find out that my monthly benefits was shorted by $350. Really. Helps SO much to know that after paying rent and utilities, I'm going to have about 60cents to feed and whatever else comes up me, Amy, and three animals until next month because idiots in nice, cool, fancy offices who don't have to worry about how they're going to make it from month to month decide to take three fucking months of Medicare premiums out of my check in one go, all because another idiot in another cushy office decided to cancel my Medicaid that pays the premiums, and has for the last 10 years, instead of calling me when he didn't get the review paperwork back, even though he KNOWS from experience that I have had issues for the past three years getting mail (as in, we had to do the last review over the phone because the paperwork never made it here). So now, I get to spend the day trying to find places that might be able to help with emergency funding and food. Totally the way I wanted to spend my day. Totally. Oh, and the best part? According to DFCS and Social Security? It's going to take 2-3 MONTHS to get it straightened out. Just lovely. -__- Oh, and GA Power? Sucks monkey butt. They're idea of "helping" by "making payment arrangements"? Extending the deadline by a whole THREE days. Oh, yeah, totally helpful. [/sarcasm]
