Found this by accident and I'm glad I did. I'm pretty sure this is one of the few fics that have managed to fill me with glee in a while and then tear my heart out in part two. Like really, omg. <3 Thank you for writing this. It's been so long since I've read a good Z/C fic.

You know, I really have to agree. There are some amazing Clack fics out there, but there isn't really that much of an abundance. (WHY IS THIS FANDOM SO SMALL!?!?) I read once that if you want to read something, and it hasn't been written yet, then it's your duty to write it. I wanted Clack fics, I couldn't find enough, so I started writing Clack! =D

I know, right! It boggles my mind. Here you have this super hot guy, who Cloud quite possibly could have considered his first and only friend, and who willingly made his escape from Hojo WAAAAY harder by dragging Cloud's comatose butt around. And then he gives his life to protect him, HALF HUGS HIM as he's dying, then causes Cloud to go into all kind of staring-at-the-buster-sword-wishing-you-were-here moping fits.
HOW IS SEPHXCLOUD MORE POPULAR!?!?! Zack gave Cloud his dreams, and Seph gave Cloud a hole in his shoulder. =/ The FFVII yaoi community must contain sooooo many sadists. . .

Right? I mean, I've been a fan of Zack/Cloud since before Crisis Core was even announced just because of those final scenes and then it got even more apparent for me when CC did come out and Cloud almost brought him home to meet his mother.

Yeah idfk... I kind of... there's only one fic I've actually actively read that's Seph/Cloud that I really really like and it's Crisis Core-era Seph and changes what actually happened. It's well-written and actually makes sense, but I can honestly say that's the only Seph/Cloud fic I've really liked because I normally don't understand that pairing AT ALL.

I understand Crisis Core Seph/Cloud more than normal Seph/Cloud. Seph wasn't off his rocker in CC, and Cloud wasn't mentally confused. =) I like a few Seph/Cloud fics, usually oneshots. Typically I only like them if they're pee-your-pants funny. I just can't see serious romance between them

Yeah. I'm really really picky but I have to say the Prisoners of War fic by xpaperplanex is really good. (LOL I've read some funny one-shots though.)

YES. YES I DID. ;__; I didn't even find it on purpose, I just have a habit of investigating... pretty much everything and that's one of many reasons I end up playing games for ten times as long as a normal person but >_>; ANYWAY YES. I cried so hard man. ;_; I

OMFG. I didn't know wtf was going on at that point so I was kinda like ohhhhkay that must just be Aerith's friend okay. (I played it before all of the extra stuff came out so I HAD TO LEARN THIS STUFF ON MY OWN). ._. Then when I replayed it I was like ;; CLOUD DON'T BE LIKE THAT ONE OF YOU GIRLS SMACK THE SHIT OUT OF HIM PLEASE. He is. ;_; To be fair, the whole scientific torture / no freedom / coma / watching his bff die to save him would be kinda traumatic on a huge level but STILL.

Haha, I investigate a lot too. I got really upset the first time I read the journals in Hojo's library, detailing the "subjects" capture, the process of their torture, and finally their escape and Zack's death. =( I wish I had explored more in Wallstreet though. Don ended up picking Tifa. I YouTubed all the crazy stuff that can happen to Cloud if he decides to look extra pretty though. My favorite was the "Whatever YOU want to do, daddy." line, closely followed by the part where he got in the hot tub with the body builders. XD "Wanna join my young buddies club?" lol!!! Poor Cloud!!
Well yeah, there's no doubt Cloud's life sucks. I guess I'll give him a free pass this time. I just can't help but feel bad for poor Mr. and Mrs. Fair. They're still sitting at home going, "Darn our son! Why won't he write us!?!?" I'll just pretend Cloud told them he was dead sometime between the end of the original and AC, haha.

Woah, woah! Are you saying you waltzed into the Don's mansion without a tiara or sexy cologne or any of that cool stuff, and he STILL picked you!? 8O I didn't think that was possible!
I cosplayed Miss Cloud at my last convention. I fought on a hill with a Sephiroth, and tripped over my dress. XD Wallmarket is sooooo fun!
I like to pretend that when he finally broke the news, Zack's mom would yell out, "I knew you looked familiar!" and would explain that Zack sent them a picture of the two of them and wrote letters home gushing about how much he loved his new boyfriend Cloud, and that he wanted to bring him home to meet them before he popped the question.
Good thing that's just my imagination though, cause Cloud would probably go into angst overdrive if that happened, and would turn Zack's memorial upside down and throw himself on it. XD Knowing his luck, he'd probably survive the flesh wound and have to just dangle there on the Buster, waiting for the rust to infect the wound and kill him. lol!

Thank you! I had sooo much fun in that costume. For some reason, most people referred to me as "Princess Cloud" instead of Miss Cloud. (If I was a princess, why didn't my Prince Fair come rescue me!!!) When I found Tifa I yelled her name and grabbed her, asking a flurry of questions about whether the Don did anything to her and if she was okay. Scared the bejesus out of the poor girl. lol!
Hahahaha! I'd personally LOVE to see a little 5 minute omake of Cloud going shopping with Marlene. All the single moms out with their daughters would be on him like that. He'd probably come home so confused. XD
