I should probably have the goodwill to read through my flist about all of your fantastic new year's resolutions, but--er, well, one of my resolutions is to stay more on track (har har--see below), so I think I'll post here and just ask what you guys have in mind for this brand new 365-day span :D
2012 New Year's Resolutions
1. FINISH NOTEBOOKS. Holy cripes and cringes. By the end of this quarter, really, but damn it girl--I'm finishing this story if it kills a dodo!
2. FINISH 100 DRABBLES CHALLENGE AND START SOMETHING ELSE. (See reasoning for #1.)
3. GET HEALTH BACK ON TRACK. Because the past two years have been bogus--I'm swimming, hitting the gym when necessary, seeing a nutritionist, and sticking to the lifestyle plan that I make for me, myself, and I. Success determined by improved circulation, a stable eating plan that I'm comfortable with, and getting rid of the flabby excess without waging war on myself.
4. FINISH ALL READINGS/PROJECTS FOR CLASSES ON TIME, AND AHEAD OF TIME IF POSSIBLE.
5. PUBLISH AN ARTICLE, OR SUBMIT AN ARTICLE FOR PUBLICATION.
6. SPEAK AT A CONFERENCE, OR BE PREPARING FOR A CONFERENCE
7. MEET AT LEAST 10 NEW PEOPLE THAT I WOULD WANT TO HANG OUT WITH. (Aside from the English crew--Alissa, Tom, Alex, Stedmond, Louisa, Shirley (exception!), Oren, Elena, Julia, Rose)
8. GET AT LEAST ONE SWIM EVENT TIME WITHIN 1 SECOND OF OLD RECORDS.
9. GO ON A DATE. MAYBE MORE THAN ONE. Sounds sad and is sadly a reality.
10. JOIN AN ORGANIZATION OR A NEW FUN ACTIVITY. Volunteer, singing, dancing--something new with ample social time! (swing!)
11. GO ON A VACATION/ROAD TRIP WITH FRIENDS.
12. GO TO DISNEYLAND AT LEAST 5 TIMES.
13. READ 50 BOOKS.
13 sounds like a pretty promising number for resolutions, don't you think? So what about you guys? Anything pressing that absolutely MUST be knocked off your list this new year?
