Just like my last post, this week is yet another hell week and the only reason I'm posting is because my brain needs a break from studying. I have been on full steam ahead since Sunday night. Got to love it.
Monday-German listening midterm, packaging 11 test, Chem exam
Tuesday-German oral midterm, packaging 12 test, 10 phs. of german hw, 30 physics capa questions
Wednesday-packaging paper, study all night
Thursday-Business law exam
Friday-German written exam, Physics exam
Exams in every class in one week is a bit ridiculous. I think my professors all collaberated at the beginning of the year and picked one day in the week every 3 weeks so I would have all my exams on the same week to drive me crazy! not really... but it seems that way.
On a different note, I finally have a place to live next year that is not in the dorms. I will be in an apartment, 231 Louis, with kevin keyes. Nate and Weaver will be living right below us. I'm soo happy that whole process is over. Looking for a place to live and having people back out on you left and right was getting really frustrating. But thats all over, and it feels good. It is $520/ month, utilities included which is on the pricey side, but you would be amazed what you can pay here.. the 520 is actually a pretty good price for the space, location, and campus, haha.
I'm trying as hard as I can this semester to raise my GPA but it seems all my efforts are being foiled by poor professors and really difficult exams. The chem exam I had this week, the average was an 88/170. Neddless to say it was difficult. I did better than the average but that doesn't mean I did well... o well... Better luck next time.
It seems there is never anything to do around here on the weekends... Maybe that's because I'm always having to go home for something. If there isn't a tailgate party on a football game day, there is nothing to do other than study or sleep, because no one I know who lives in a house has been having any sort of parties. Keyes has had a few but he can't be the host for all of them. Even the frats haven't been having too many things to do... Whatever..
I may go home again this Friday night because it is something to do and I don't know of anything going on up here. At least at home, there are people who are interested in doing something, there is the Athens v. Troy high game, small tailgate, good food, and free laundry. Better than sitting in my dorm room with nothing to do..
I think I'm gonna start visiting friends at other schools for these weekends that have nothing planned.. All that entails is that I go to WMU and KU.. I've been to CMU twice, and I don't really have good friends that go anywhere else.. haha, that makes my job easy.
Well, it's back to the grind for me....
I'm soo sick of studying but I have to tell myself that the week is almost over! 2 more exams and some hw and it will be pver for another 3 weeks...
