Early rising....

So this morning, at 7:30 a.m. there is a bunch of noise outside my window. I get out of bed to look and see what it is, and there is a backhoe digging a HUGE hole right outside my window! I was like are you KIDDING ME!?!?!?! I was going to sleep in today and I get woken up by a bunch of construction no less than 3 feet from where I was standing...... Needless to say, I was PISSED!!! Not a great way to start the day if you get my meaning.

This week marks the busiest week I have experienced in my college career.. Here's a little run down of what is going on for classes this week:
Monday-german hw, physics quiz, study chem for the rest of the day, chem exam, study german and packaging all night
Tuesday-German quiz, business law review, 30 physics CAPA problems due, 2 packaging quizzes, review for physics
Wednesday-ungodly amounts of studying for physics and business law
Thursday-Chem hw, business law exam, 5 pages of german hw, study physics all night
Friday-German quiz, physics exam, chem lecture, head home for Oktoberfest practice and beers lol

needless to say I've had some sort of quiz or exam in every class, on top of homework due for every class this week. It has been and will continue to be pretty rough....

class schedule:
GRM 102-german 2
GBL 323-general business law
PKG 101-Intro to packaging
CEM 141-General chemistry
PHY 231-Physics 1

On top of a busy and difficult schedule, the pressure is on in the sense that I have to raise my GPA this semester to get accepted into a school or I will be out of classes to take here at MSU. I will literally be out of credits until I get accepted into the packaging school.
That is indeed what I have decided to do with my life, get a degree in packaging.

This past weekend, Ryan(anni's fiancee) came upand partied with me on Friday. We had a drunken good time. I then went home for My uncle Jay's golf scramble and proceeded to get third place. I made a few B E A utiful shots on the course, in the end we ended up 1 under. The two other teams who beat us tied for first with 2 under. Sunday, I went out to breakfast with whitey and jonas, and then went home to a few hours of yard work. then after that, the fam and I went to the Michel's for a delicious dinner. Smoked a stoagie with the guys and then headed back up to school for some studying and sleep.

This upcoming weekend, my German club back home is having their annual Oktoberfest. It should be a good time. Next weekend I am heading up to central for the annual Gruber tailgate. Unfortunately Chrissy won't be there, but a bunch of folks from Troy are supposed to be coming up. Again, it should be a good time. The following weekend, State has their homecoming football game, so I am going to be busy for the next few weeks anyway.

I live in a single dorm this year and it is turning out to be just fine. I like my suitemate, and I know a few other people living in Holden including Kurt and company, and a few friends that I made from freshman year. It is basically like living in an apartment without a kitchen, I have my own bathroom and space, and I have to walk like 100 yds. to eat food that is cooked for me. Not a big deal.

Overall I've been having a jolly good time. Unfortunately, the studying is starting to get to me a little bit. Lately, I seem to be spending over 6 hours a day on studying and homework along not including lectures, Now yes, that is what I am here for, but it's getting to be a little intense for me. I know I can handle it but at the same time, I have never been this busy for school, ever.
