If you read my last post you know that I was having trouble registering for the classes I needed. Well, I took off work last monday and went over there to get things settled. After waiting in lines of students and talking to several people who have no clue what the fuck their purpose is as a UCF employee I got some pretty bad news. I am unable to take the classes I need because they are all "Upper Level" courses that can only be taken by people who are considered "Elementary Education Major", apparently I am "Elementary Education Major: Pending". Before one can get rid of the life ruining "pending" status, they must take the "General Knowledge Test". This is mandated by the State of Florida and there are no substitutions. I knew that at some point I would have to take the test but I did not realize that I was not even considered part of my fucking major until I did. To rap it all up, I can't move any further to getting my degree until I have passed that test, resulting in me not being able to take any more classes until I have satisfied that requirement. After several e-mails to the head of the education department at UCF, I was given the web site I need in order to register for the test. I just registered for it (for a $50 fee, fffffuuuuuu). There are 4 parts to it and the testing time will be from 8:00am to about 1:45pm.
Final nail in the coffin, the testing date is the Saturday of Megacon.
