A few days after finals week last semester I tried registering for classes for the '09 term only to be told "prereq not met" for every FUCKING class I tried signing up for. I have indeed taken the required classes, the problem is that I took them at Valencia and I guess they didn't tell UCF. With the "winter holidays" being an excuse for anyone who works for the government to sit on their fucking asses for the month of December, tomorrow will be the first day that I'll actually be able to talk to anyone at UCF about the problem. Then I found out that school starts this wednesday and well, I've been stressing out ever since. Any one have this problem before and know who I need to talk to so I can skip about 3 hours of waiting in lines only to be told "You need to talk to someone else"? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Edit:
The reasoning behind the mix up is that they have my transcript from before graduated from Valencia and not my transcript where I came back a year later and took the classes in question. Obviously a simple matter of, "Look, I did take those classes" but with the college system being the joke that it is I have to submit my new/old Valencia transcript and wait the 2 business days before it is even submitted. Basically, the best I can hope for is that by friday all the bullshit gets settled and I'm able to register over the weekend and start on monday. Now its a matter of waiting and hoping. Fuck I hate school.
