Okay.. so yesterday was a good day. I did nothing.. and then around 6 we went out to dinner with family friends @ sidekicks in town... where we had a normal dinner.. fine.. right? wrong. Okay.. so everyone was fixed on the game, and never realized that it took about an 1/2 hour before we recieved our appetizers, and another hanf hour for our food... so that was an hour, actually maybe a little longer. So megan and jared who are in their 20's were rushing out of there to get drunk, and they needed someone to take them b/c they obviously couldn't drive.. so as we're about to leave, we get a phone call that our other family friends are comming to the restaurant too and we should wait for them to have dessert ,so all in all we were there for 3 hours.. the whole time we were devising crazy plans to get kicked out of there.. we tried over-reacting really loudly when jared won a game on his phone... flicking food around with our spoons, and were devising a plan to fake a faint before they decided it wsa time to go.. so that was fun. So.. then it was 9:30, and i obviously couldn;t go anywhere, and my sis went to her friends house (whom we were @ the resaurant with.) When it was time to pick her up, we went, got her, dropped her of @ her other friends house and went to get gas.
So i pumped the gas, and as I was finishing... this chinese man comes up behind me and begins to ramble on about new york.. i now realize that he was probably asking for directions.. but he scared the shit outta me, and i just yelled @ him and said "we're not going to Manhatten!" (obviously thinking he was a hitch-hiker or a criminal.") Then we drove off, and went home and that is the end of that story.
So.. now comes the sad news. My dad's uncle died yesterday morning, so that is a funeral to go t, and i prob. wont be in school on Tuesday. And then, about 3-4 hours after that we get another call- my nana (g-ma) is in the hospital b.c of a heart attack. At that point we were all concerned.. and this morning we get another call that she cannot have the operation needed to clear the problem becase she is too ill and wont be able to recover from a surgery... so it looks as if I might have another funeral to plan (hopefully not) and i may be absent most of this week. Oh well. hopefully things will get better. I'm out.. tootle-oo!
