Why our fandom can't have nice things...

AKA everything is confusing (seems to be a running theme lately).

If you haven't heard, there have been multiple song leaks the past few days from seemingly everywhere. It started back in January when "Featuring You" leaked. As far as I know, everyone was happy until Logan posted this:

Hate to see the hard work I've spent at the studio making new music get leaked....sucks when people steal stuff
- Logan Henderson (@1LoganHenderson) January 14, 2013

Then hell broke loose. So far, 4.5 songs have been leaked and every single time there is all this infighting about whether we should listen and/or share the songs. The only exception seems to be the full version of "Shot in the Dark". My opinion is that none of us should feel guilty about listening and downloading these songs.

That being said, there are way too many leaks going on lately and I feel that something is seriously wrong. I'm more worried that BTR's episode of Penguins of Madagascar was posted on the internet first before the English version aired on TV. I was shocked and dismayed that this happened because this was bigger than any song leak. I looked everywhere to see if the episode was on DVD first or something (if it was then I'm worrying for nothing). This reminded me of what happened with an insanely popular anime called One Piece. Funimation, Toei Animation, Shueisha, and Fuji TV announced in May 2009 that they would simulcast stream the series within an hour of the weekly Japanese broadcast. A day before this was supposed to happen, someone leaked the new ep on the net before the Japanese broadcast. Fuji TV lost a lot of money because of this. The reaction was very swift; due to the leak, Funimation had to cancel the simulcast and fix the security flaws. It wasn't until three months later that the simulcast was started again.

I'm just baffled. Does Nickelodeon not know or care that this happened? Am I freaking out too much? Should I not even mention this at all?

Speaking of which, gokartmozart (Lorraine) posted an apology for hacking Kendall's email and posting her findings online. I'm also not sure if this is a rumor or not, but she's also facing legal consequences for her actions. None of us probably will ever know what happens behind closed doors, but my first thought was "Why only her?" There has to have been multiple people hacking and/or getting access to their information. All we can do is wait and see what happens next.

I apologize if it's a little nonsensical. What do you all think of this?
