Thanks to a computer error, my payment came a few days late. But, when it did I suddenly decided "I wanna go to Melbourne!". So, I did!

Tuesday morning at 8:00, I went up to the marketplace (near the station), withdrew my spending money, got breakfast and killed time in BigW while waiting for my train. Good thing I did! I first went to check the MLP stuff, and they have human Cutie Mark Crusaders dolls! They also had Funrise keychain plush of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. I then decided to check out the licensed shirts in the men's section. I found three new Beatles shirts! I grabbed L of two of them, and since the only one left of the third was XL, I decided to get it anyway (summer is approaching, it might make a nice sleep shirt). The thing though is that I wanted as much money as possible for Melbourne, so instead of buying them, I put them on layby (as well as keychain plush of Twilight and Pinkie to bring it to the minimum price). I'll get them next week.

I caught the train to Melbourne and went straight to Minotaur. Normally, I would leave with anime goods, but my main purpose was Beatles stuff; particularly a plush of Yellow Submarine Ringo. Lucky for me, they had him! I would've got George if I could afford him as well, but could only afford one. (They also had Chief Blue Meanie and the submarine itself!) Then, I wanted one more item, something handy. I checked the cups and mugs and decided they were too expensive. So, I got a pass case to hold my Myki card (keep my Natsuki case from getting damaged after too much use). Then, it was off to McDonald's for lunch.

After lunch, I found an internet cafe and went there for an hour where I downloaded Ringo's album "I Wanna Be Santa Claus" and listened to VOCALOID covers of Beatles songs (there was a lovely Miku and Luka duet of "If I Fell"). I made a quick stop at One Stop Anime and got three Pokemon gashapon keychains (Serena and Fennekin, Clemont and Chespin and Bonnie and Dedenne). Then, it was time to go home. I headed up to Melbourne Central, ducked into a small supermarket nearby for a drink (got Pepsi Blue...yes, blue Pepsi!), then caught a Metro train to Footscray and finally, caught a train home from there. I hugged Ringo all the way home; as I slept on the train and walked home from the station.
