So, life has been alright. I've been battling one hell of a cold since the 20th of September, but it's getting a bit better. Still obsessed with The Beatles, naturally. Also had the chance to watch the televised performance of Monty Python's final show (One Down, Five to Go). Dad saw it too, and we both enjoyed it.
Gonna save for the next couple of weeks so I'll be ready to get concert goods at the Beatlemania concert done by tribute group The Fabulous Beatle Boys. This time, I'm gonna leave with at least one shirt!
Gonna attend a social meet-up tonight so I can try to work on my anxiety around other people. Tonight's activity is a trivia night. I'll put in what effort I can.
Also, I'll be doing a course with a difference starting the end of this month. This course includes work placement at a shop like Big W or Target or Bunnings Warehouse. Chances of finishing the course with an actual job are likely, which would help someone like me with little experience and over 18.
Saw the official crossover between Family Guy and The Simpsons. I had a feeling it'd end with Peter and Homer no longer being besties, but wow...I did not expect THAT! And wow, even Bart has limits after all!
Dad's birthday was yesterday, he's now 54. We went out for tea, and yay I ate all of my food this time around! I had butter chicken and rice.
Today was the Mental Health Week Reclink football match between Victoria Metro and Victoria Country. I'm not into footy all that much, but Pa took me to the match last year since Jason was taking part in the half-time sprint. But, I left the game feeling more excited than if I'd been watching Family Guy on DVD (as I planned to do that day), so I asked Pa to take me again this year. It was a good match, and Jason played more in the match this year; even nearly scored a goal at one point, but the wind caught it and sent it to a player from the other team. Jay's team is Country since Bendigo is a regional town. Country won by 41 points! They did very well.
I have a new fanart to share soon featuring Madeline, Albert, Tracey and myself dancing to some music (which is of course Beatles music; it was inspired when I was listening to John's cover of 'Rock and Roll Music' and George's cover of 'Roll Over Beethoven').
After the concert in November, I'm continuing to stock-up on Beatles goods; CDs, DVDs, apparel, stationery...I even plan on getting plush and more figures (I've always wanted a plush of Ringo from Yellow Submarine).
So, yeah. That's been life lately.
