AU Lee and Kara as mercenaries
Maybe I read too much BSG and Cable and Domino (from X-Men) fics, but I always wanted to write a AU fic (where the cylons either never attacked or attacked later) with Kara and Lee as mercenaries. This would entail, of course, it being longer than I dare to write (English is not my native tongue and I am not confortable enough with it -- PLUS I don't have the attention span to do it).
The way I saw it in my head, Lee leaves the fleet, as it always was his plan to do so. He's later approached by a mercenary group in need of two pilots. And he tries (and eventually succeedes) to convince Kara to join him.
But, you know, feel free to do whatever with it. :)
