Election question

As everyone doesn't know, the Presidential (and Vice Presidential) election is a multistage process. On November 4th, the voters chose the Presidential electors. On December 15th, the electors cast their ballots, which are sealed and sent to the President of the Senate for safe keeping, supposedly in fancy boxes. On January 6th the fancy boxes are moved to the House chamber where they're counted. The candidate with a majority of the votes is elected President. What happens if that person dies between the time the votes are cast and they are counted? There is a procedure for selecting a president if no one receives a majority of the votes cast.
