First post here. Feel free to poke fun at me, as well.
Not sure if this has been done before, but the book's certainly deserving of a good snark or 10.

First, the cover, which can be found over at Dibbly Fresh.

and her dad gets a might uncomfortable.--I can see why.

"They were mentioning names like Keanu Reeves, Macaulay Culkin, and Winona Ryder."--*applause for all three* It's interesting to me how the later books start referencing people actually relevant at the time period. I still always got the feeling the ghostwriters had to fight tooth and nail in order to get relevant stuff mentioned. If this was earlier, I have no doubts that sentence would read "They were mentioning names like Tony Dow, Billy Gray, and Jay North."

and Stacey tries to convince him otherwise--I'm not really sure why this matters at all? I know Stacey has orgasms over NY, it's just not a subject that should really come up every single day. It's not like it's a subject like political feelings or religious feelings that'd probably be wrapped up in how you think.

Robert's polite about it--+1 for him. It's nice to see somebody have that attitude without cringing or fake vomiting all over the place because they don't like something that another person enjoys.

Robert presents a good point: "She's the president. Why doesn't she just go ahead and buy it?"--lmao, true!

"I'm going to take Robert to a Broadway musical for his birthday!--*sighs* Why don't you get him something that would interest HIM on his birthday? Get him some concert tickets or tickets to a game, whatever. Not like it's YOUR birthday, Stacey.

But you seem so healthy!--This attitude kills me. Does somebody have to look like they're about to drop dead for them to realize "Wow, you do have a health problem of some sort!"

and suggests that he take Kristy out with him to help him buy it--This plot still seems stupid to me. The ring buying is ridiculous enough as it is and then the writers have to get Logan to get Kristy's help to pick out the ring.

Stacey says she hopes that they will get married.--.....I just don't even know. Why in the world do they have stuff like this written in these books? I think it's pushing it thinking of high school sweethearts ending up together.

Mrs. McGill, survivor of a painful divorce, says that a lot can go wrong between now and then.--At least they added on that realistic note.
