Well, after a pretty good streak of normalcy, I went and fucked up my sleep schedule. I slept until 5:30 pm (and missed Animal Crossing events) and after touring Tumblr I came to snark. And so far this book is a breeze! It's pretty fun tearing into the BSC when they're acting stupid rather than bitchy. Stupidity is so much easier to handle than

Hello, myself! :D
Logan says the problem with him getting thrown out of the play started because there wasn't much for the pirates to do because they're only in two scenes.
This is why cast members are only supposed to be in on the days they're rehearsing. There's no reason at all for minor roles to be there every single day, and in fact, there will be days when the leads aren't even there.
Mr Cheney tells Logan he's setting a bad example and kicks him out of the play.
Because Karen's setting such a great example? At worst, Logan should have gotten a warning.
K Ron tells Dawn to stop changing the lines
Continuing to do this can result in getting kicked out of the show because it makes your reliability questionable. When we did The Outsiders (I was in that one), the boy who played Sodapop kept changing lines because he thought it as funny. The problem is that shows are licensed, and making changed to the script without prior approval can lead to not getting approved to do other shows from that company. When we did Les Mis, the director had to spend some time getting permission to change a couple scenes in rather minor ways, even though no lines were changed!
This does make sense. If one company changes lines and makes a production bomb for it, audience-members may take about how much the show (in this sense, the script) sucks, and that can keep the people from wanting to see it. If they say the actors sucked, that's not a reflection of the show itself.
Um, exactly how big is this closet?
Big enough to contain Ann for so many years.
Excuse me, I've got an express bus to hell to catch now.
Mr Cheney says it's because it's too dangerous
Danger likely has nothing to do with it. A fly-system is EXTREMELY expensive, and most theaters don't have that kind of space above the stages. This actually causes a problem during the rare times Peter Pan tours. The production (which I'm not even sure if happening right now) can only stop at theaters with the right kind of fly set-up. Not all flies can handle the frequent change of the characters' directions.
Put it this way. Julie Andrews was connected to a fly system during the umbrella-flying scenes for Mary Poppins. You can bet they didn't use cheap shit. The system still had a bit of a snafu, and she was dropped pretty far and slammed into the ground. I highly doubt a middle school will have a better, safer system, and it's more doubtful that insurance would cover that kind of use if it did.
It's been like two weeks tops and they have all the costumes made? With only two people working on them?
Even with more people, bull shit. I did Peter Pan a couple summers ago, and it took eight people about six weeks.
Jackie isn't pleased that his nightshirt looks like something his mom would wear. Give him a few years and he won't like that it's what Snape wears to sleep.
I thought about Ron's dress robes that looked like his grandma's dress. :)
Jackie is scared of the costume
This can be easy to snark, but this is realistic. Remember a lot of kids still believe in Santa at that age, and can easily convince themselves a fake croc is real.
He needed an assistant producer.
Jessi doesn't know what a producer does. She also needs to stop huffing her own farts and saying it smells like candy.
