I was feeling pretty productive today and had nothing else I felt like doing, So I decided to work on my snark some more. It's funny how when I was going into this snark, it seemed fairly innocuous. Claudia doesn't know what to say. She tells them she didn't do it and John says they'd like to believe her.

Why would they even say that? I'm not exactly Claudia's biggest fan but she's not a cheater. Her parents should know this. Not only that they should be having to be pulled off the teacher for this. Either that or raising a stink in the principal's office.

Janine takes a moment to congratulate Claudia and her kindness towards Claudia always kills me. I can see Claudia disliking Janine if she was a snot about being smarter and constantly put Claud down. But Janine always encourages Claudia and shows her support and is generally a good older sister. It's really all Claudia's fault they're estranged

Me too. Claudia's horrible to her sister. I do love how we're suppose to take Claudia's side but when do we ever see the "Mean Janine"? When she's defending her sister like she is right now? When she knows without a doubt her sister didn't cheat.

Sweet, sensitive Mary Anne tells Claudia that she'd totally understand if she cheated, she's stupid after all. And of course, when everyone is like 'Don't be a bitch, MA!' she bursts into tears

Of course she did. God, I hate how Mary Anne gets out of everything by crying. I so wish Claudia had gone off on Mary Anne.

Claudia is a moron who gets bad grades all the time anyways. Somehow Claudia doesn't burst out of the stall and bust their asses

Seriously, Claudia go out and call her on her crap. Bust her ass. And Mary Anne's. Also, Shawna, cheating off someone you know is a moron who gets bad grades all of the time doesn't say "smart"

Dawn is the least admirable person in a pack of scuzzy scrotums.

Its really kind of creepy the way Dawn's so excited to break into a locker, terrorize her sister, and change her appearance for a guy. God, Sharon, get your daughter to therapist before she ends up in jail.

Yeah, I haven't snarked many Claudia books, but I don't remember any instances of Janine being mean to Claudia. I know in one I did, Claudia asked Janine was working on to distract her parents, and Janine was flattered while Claudia was like 'Ugh. What a nerd.' Janine really is a good sister and Claudia the 'bad' one. I seriously hope Janine grows up to be super successful while Claudia is struggling to get along.

Dawn is a Goddamn sociopath! I don't know what Ann was thinking when she wrote her! She's constantly antagonizing everyone and is one of the most selfish characters I've ever read! And don't get me started on how she's supposed to be 'such an individual!' when she follows the crowd more than any other member. I seriously hate Dawn more than I hate any other character in anything I've ever read.
