The Barretts are the Impossible Three because they act like actual children. Seriously, if these were real children, there'd be a lot more back talk. I just realized that Jessi is such a bad friend to Mallory. She assumes Mallory is being racist because she's nervous around people she hasn't met (I guess being shy is racist, now) bitched at her for being tired, and is now laughing while she's being made fun of. I really want Wendy to be friends with Mallory. I also had a thing for Mallory and Janine becoming close.

It just pisses me off so bad that Mallory gets dumped on for being annoyed that she has to do all the work. Funnily enough my mom asked me to do the dishes and I was thinking, "My brother's right there? Why the fuck don't you ask him?" Mallory's a saint for not being all, "You have other kids-make them do some work," sooner. I also love how Mallory's the bad guy for wanting a little peace and quiet and not having to slave after her siblings. That really pisses me off. I think it's because I'm the older sibling and older cousin, which meant I always had to do the chores and god forbid I ever get pissed off at my brother or cousins.

It's just heartbreaking that Mallory thinks she's letting everyone down because she wants to pursue her own hobbies. This book and the mono book just makes me want to take Mallory away from her shitty ass family and friends.I bet that Kristy gave Mallory the time off but then she'll be like, "You can't have any time off for a two years. I don't care if you're in the ICU." I bet her parents thought that Mallory would go to child services and tell them about how she's basically raising her siblings and doing all the work and she's eleven.

I told my little cousin about the pizza and I think her eye started twitching. I can get learning how to do certain things later on in life, but not being able to pick pizza toppings off is really pathetic.

I feel so bad for Mallory being happy with one day off because she clearly thinks it's better that she was going to get. What I've learned from this book is that it's okay for an 11 year old to be used as slave labor and the kid has no right getting upset over it, it's wrong to want to pursue your own hobbies, and older siblings are never allowed to want any time for themselves. No, they have to slave after their siblings daily.

I can get learning how to do certain things later on in life, but not being able to pick pizza toppings off is really pathetic.--I still can't wrap my head around this shit. It's not as if the kids have to perform brain surgery. How hard is it to pick things off and ask somebody "I hate olives. Does anybody want my olives?" "Well, I hate pepperoni. Who wants mine?"

Yeah, I realize that scenario is way too peaceful for the Pike kids. I'm surprised they weren't flinging the food at each other.

When my in laws get a pizza; it's usually with toppings I don't like! I just pick off what I don't want!
