I could have had an agent and possibly publisher if I had made my abuse-survivor return to her abuser a lá Fifty Shades. If you want to go indie, let me know. I have a small pseudo-publishing company.
-Fucking Hell, really? That fucking series ruined fiction for everyone! I read them, because everyone was raving about it and I thought it was cool to finally see a book with a girl in charge of her own sexuality and exploring the S&M subculture. Little did I know! Thanks for the tip about the publishing company, I'd have to dig some old short stories out and re-read them and make sure they're as good as I think they are first!

-You know what the fucked up part is? I still have a black wall hanging with them on it, folded in a box in my office and I completely fucking forgot about them! I had the hugest crush on Jordan back then!

So the boys learned they can lie and tell the truth, and they'll get a reward. When I was a kid, telling the truth might get a day or two taken off of my grounded-sentence, which would have factored in my parents knowing I was lying anyway.

Mmmmm, for me, Jordan and Joe!

When I first heard about Fifty Shades, I thought the same thing. Wow, a girl taking charge and liking sex! I became weary when I heard it was Twilight fanfic. I'm so glad I looked for a download. It didn't take long for me to start asking WTF I was reading. I've doing recaps of the newest book on my blog. Grey is even more dangerous and scary when telling it form his own POV.

My little publishing thing is really something I want to get started for independent authors to do their own thing as a loosely connected group without any strict oversight. I can get the ISBNs in the VIP name for free since I actually registered it in Canada. Those are free to anyone who wants to be part of it. It looks better than an ISBN connected to Createspace, and you need an ISBN to sell on Amazon and pretty much everywhere else. Yet buying an ISBN is expensive if you're in the US. Which is why I started VIP and registered it in Canada.

Joe got really cute when he got older. In the boy bands in high school; I like AJ in BSB, Joey in N'Sync and Nick Lachey from 98 Degrees, cause DAMN! :)

That's really good that you do that for authors. I'd have to see what I have in my story folder!
