Kristy is upset that she can’t find any peace and quiet in a mansion. That’s right, she said mansion. But she’s not a rich snob or anything. In fact, she has the attitude that people who like nice things and designer outfits and change their underwear more than once a month are horrible snobs. Whenever she pulls that shit, I think about that Gilmore Girls episode where Rory is being a snot to her rich college boyfriend and he finally snaps and yells at her that even though her early childhood wasn't wealthy, SHE IS ONE OF THEM NOW, having gone to a fancy prep school and now Yale on her grandparents' dime. That she doesn't get to be a snotty little bitch with a superiority complex because she has the same advantages as everyone else. I wish someone would give Kristy that lecture ( ... )

Well, there's the yacht-stealing incident mentioned below, how she harassed her way into getting a job she wasn't qualified or wanted for, how she slept with her married ex-boyfriend, how she refused to speak to her mother for months after she quit Yale because one person told her she didn't have what it took to be a reporter and moved into her grandparents' pool house and her mother was like "um this is a shitty plan," I could go on.

She was merely annoying for the rest of the high school years. Once she hit college, she was awful. It sucked because she was so cute and adorable in the first season.

Oh and she basically only went back to yale because she decided she didn't want to end up a useless rich housewife snob like her grandmother...you know, the one who's always had her back and treated her like a queen...and paid for her education...

I just found it hilarious that she decided to drop out of college and steal a yacht because someone said she wasn't a good writer. I can understand being a little down after criticism, but who the fuck steals a yacht? And remember when she was mad at her mother for ruining sleeping with Dean? You just slept with a married man! Why the hell would your mom be happy?
