New fanfic/fanvid challenge - Baby Sitter's Club:The Adult Years.
jadore_histoireand I are pleased to announce a new challenge - Baby Sitter's Club: The Adult Years!
Description: The premise of the challenge is to write an affectionate parody of the Baby Sitter's Club and the recent slew of books about YA or children's characters as adults.
There are three options:
- Fanvid.
- Short fanfic.
- Longer fanfic.
Rules:
1. This should not be a normal "future fic." It should at least be relatively snarky in nature - obviously sometimes writing takes unexpected turns, and if it ends up being more of an homage, that's fine as long as it's still also satire. It's also okay if it's more of a parody of the books or of "future fics."
2. It is also okay for it to be less affectionate, but please nothing too angry.
You can post this to either your personal journal or the community, but if you do post to the community, make sure all responses - even videos - are under a cut. The challenge ENDS October 31st at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time.
