Ahh, the later books, when the ghosties decided that these were not characters but personality traits with human names. I'm not snarking the entire book, but I was reading this one yesterday and found this small passage hilarious.
"We were halfway through our Monday BSC meeting, later that day. We'd handed over our dues to Stacey, who was balancing our accounts. Mal was writing in the club notebook and smiling to herself. Kristy had folded her arms, and was surveying her kingdom. Mary Anne was flipping through the record book. Abby and Jessi were doing some kind of stretching exercise that was 'good for tight hamstrings.' They had been comparing notes on various muscle stretches required for soccer and ballet. I was going through all the pockets of all the coats in my closet, looking for a bag of candy corn that I knew I had hidden there only a few days ago."
Stacey = Math
Mallory = Dweeb
Kristy = Dictator
Mary Anne = [Okay, I don't how this really describes her, other than Secretary]
Abby = Soccer
Jessi = Ballet
Claudia = Hoarder
