sending out an SOS

Since I forgot to put text in the Police video below, I'll just say it here.  In theory, Live Earth was a wonderful way to raise more awareness about global warming--although if there is anyone else out there who is unaware of the issue, they probably don't watch TV or listen to the radio anyway.  Everyone loves a multi-national concerts spanning like 20 hours, even if the only ones who attend/watch are 20 somethings who don't give a fuck about any of the bands playing.

My one grievance (well other than Mr. West free stylin' during "Message in a Bottle"  and saying wave your hands in the air if you just don't care--isn't that contradictory to what we actually want?)  is if we want to conserve energy, is it really a wise idea to televise a 20 hour long concert, and have more people sit inside, with their AC on, leaving their TV on for the whole damn thing?

I hope they were busing people into these concerts, because that many cars on the road just adds to the problem.

This month I'm on Surgery, which is why my entries are going to come in at 4 AM.
