Also I just realized that the fact that Cook played his whole album last night (in honor of the one-year anniversary of the release) means that he did "Permanent," and just the THOUGHT has me choked up. Gah. Also apparently he performed while looking like this, so. Yeah. As usual, Cook, I don't know whether to hug you or fuck you. Sigh. (And apparently the show took enough out of him that he's on vocal rest today. DAVID COOK. Is on VOCAL REST. Query: if David Cook is prevented from talking, does he actually DISAPPEAR? And a follow-up, courtesy of dugrival: assuming he DOESN'T disappear, HOW MUCH are his bandmates using this to fuck with him? SO VERY MUCH, I HOPE.)
