More about the Rto\o/ later, including pictures, but for now, honestly, I'm just too sad that Sal is gone to feel like doing much more than wallowing in woe (and that tells you something about how awesome our trip was, that we spent five days basically living in a three-by-four-foot space and I ended up MORE clingy at the end of it than at the beginning).
I am attempting to cure my woe via distraction, though, which arrived in my inbox this morning:
OH MY GOD CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE HOLY FUCKING HOTNESS. From Flashpoint, obviously--these came from a blog entry
here, which is mainly about how hot and talented (and AFFABLE, omg, Hugh Dillon AFFABLE, which I think has historically basically been true but was certainly not exactly what he was KNOWN for) Hugh is and how that second picture is all about his package. Awesome. Plus, hi, alpha male AND tactical brain AND uniform kink? You sure know how to give a girl a birthday present, Hugh.
And thank you, Google Alerts: stalking your obsessions so you don't have to. I should've done this months ago.
Also, via
c_regalis via
c6d_weekly, there is
this, with a couple of interesting names on it. Is this that one that was filmed in Hawaii or something? Frankly, the movie sounds kind of terrible, but I really cannot express how much I don't care about that if there are Scenes Together OMG.
And finally, I am VERY SINCERELY hoping that someone puts up footage soon of Paul Gross speaking to the Canadian Senate yesterday about the C-10 bill. I hear he said "ephemeral." *swoons* And honestly, as much as Paul is a ginormous dork (I actually discovered the "Santa Drives a Pickup" video lurking on my hard drive a couple of days ago and Sal and I watched it and laughed so hard we almost fell off the bed), he is also extremely eloquent and persuasive, and I think it's awesome that he uses his powers for good. Seriously. If you've got a cause, you can do a hell of a lot worse than to have Paul at the forefront of it, and the fact that he clearly believes in this cause makes it even more awesome. Well done, Paul.
It is a good time to be a Canada fangirl, is it not? ♥
