OK, so
sdwolfpup and I would like you to settle a dispute. It goes a little something like this:
SDW: I can't stop laughing at this headline: Kenny Loggins' son ready to 'Rock'. I mean, I love me some Kenny Loggins, but I'm not sure he ever rocked.
Me: Oh come ON. "Danger Zone" rocked like a fucking ROCK FORMATION, dude.
SDW: I am not sure I could call 80s pop-rock ROCK. I love the song! But I don't know, man. You could probably sell me on Loggins & Messina, but once Steve Perry gets involved it is a different definition of rocking is all I'm saying!
Can I just say, though, that I fucking LOVE Steve Perry? Ok then.
Me: Dude, do not speak to me again until you have listened to the guitar riff at the beginning of "Danger Zone." I mean, no, it is not "Ride the Lightning," but it is ROCK. LISTEN TO HER HOWLING ROAR, SDW.
And re: Steve Perry: agreed! Shamefully, but agreed!
SDW: I AM LISTENING TO IT RIGHT NOW. It is rocking ok. You are shameful about Steve Perry? COME ON. Journey rocked at LEAST as much as Kenny Loggins!
Me: No question. But just because it's rock doesn't mean it's not shameful! Are you going to make me do a poll? Because I will do a poll!
SDW: Ok you need to do a poll on BOTH of these issues. Clearly.
So, LJ, I put it to you:
Poll Which of us actually listens to classic rock, I'm just saying
