oh! with all that updating i almost forgot-
it seems the traffic gods are in dispute. one of them is out to get me, but another one is at least keeping the other from killing me. on the way home from thanksgiving, some guy rear-ended me through a stop light. gave me a hell of a headache. amazingly, my bumper is fine. just some paint scratched, not a dent! go figure.
then! this morning, i was so proud of myself, i was early and everything, but i got run off the road by a semi! if it had just been that it wouldn't have been so bad, but the roads are beeing re-paved so they're all uneven so when i swerved to dodge the truck my car got pulled off the road and started spinning all over! he pushed me off the left side, i spun around the median, went back across the road still spinning and ended up on the side,in the mud, facing the road.
somehow, and thank whichever of the gods was looking, i missed the cement blocks, a metal railing, any cars on the road, two signs, another metal railing, and stopped right before running into a bunch of trees and ditch.
