Quick update:
*didn't make it into the clinical trial but the metastasies in my lungs haven't grown or spread to my head etc...
Sperm donations cannot be made after radiation or chemo has started which means...I have one week to get to the clinic.
Pre-Radiation Prep-work is on June 19th.
I begin Chemotherapie (pill form called Sutant which is not a cure but mainly to stabalize it/prevent further growth)on June 19th as well.
Radiation starts on July 13th (after a family vacation)(don't worry...the doctor agreed to give my leg another couple weeks to fully heal)...it will last 5-6 weeks ('til the end of August)That will be every day Monday through Friday. We don't have a time yet but since they are open late I may go after work...if anyone is available (even for some days) to bring me down to UCLA and back...that would of course be helpful (and we found free 2 hour parking...and the radiation only takes 15-20 minutes...!)
After the round of radiation is over I will be going to Germany for surgery with Dr. Rolle in Dresdin/Coswig. That will take about 2 months total (surgery and recovery)...and then...i'm planning to stay in that general region until December. So...if anyone's up for an adventure...i'll be there!
