School's a whore...
I'm at school with a 30 minute break, so I thought I'd use it to do a lil' LJ updatage. I like that word, updatage, it's mine now. ;)
I can't believe I'm moving back to Denton! I never thought I would ever utter those words, but I'm actually pretty excited about it. I'm excited about my new apt all to myself. I've already bought 2 paintings off of Ebay so when I move in it won't look like an empty wasteland for 2 months till I can save up the money to decorate it. All I'll really need is a couch and maybe a chair, or something. If anyone knows where I can get one for a good deal, lemme know.
I'm going to the office to sign my lease after class today. My move-in date is June 10th, 3 days before my Birthday, so maybe if I'm moved in by then I can have a lil' Birthday/House-warming soiree. ;) Turning 22 is definitely nothing I want to celebrate too much, so I'll lean more on the latter of the 2.
There's pro's and con's of the Denton move. Sure, I'll miss the nice area I've lived in for 2 years, and it was a good location for me working in Dallas and schooling in Denton, having been right in the center of the 2. But I don't know, or hang out with that many people in Lewisville anymore. The Lewisville crowd has since slowly died, and if I'm going to be living alone, I'd like to be surrounded by people I know. I've been hanging out in Denton a lot more now anyway, and I definitely need to buckle down and finish school.
I'll be a block away from Dustin and Blake, and Chris will live not too far either. And my lil' apt is so cute, I'm excited about making it my own. I've been watching all the TLC "Trading Spaces" type shows getting ideas. And all you San Marcians - well, that's basically just Tiffa and Am - better know that you best be comin' to visit me!! Fo'realz.
