Guess who's back, back again...
So, wow, it's been over 4 months since I posted. I had kinda given this thing up, due to many reasons, but after being pestered by my one loyal LJ reader, Tiffany, over and over, have decided to revive it from its sinking grave. So, to all who still have me on their friends list, I'm back!! I'll try to update somewhat often, but no promises. :)
Life has been pretty crazy, but nothing to complain about. I decided at the eve of this year I would work on myself, and stop waiting for something to happen. I've buckled down in school, and doing very well, working when I can, but not too much, and spending lots of time with friends. I've been working out at the UNT rec everyday after classes and eating much healthier, and have so far lost about 17 pounds and counting. :) By this summer hopefully I'll be at my goal!
No special boy to boast about, but that hasn't been much of a priority as of late. I have a great group of friends I am so happy to surround myself with. Scot, Aaron and Dustin have been 3 of my best friends for nearly the past 3 years, and now along with some new friends -- Blake, Jeff, and Brandon, we've made sort of a lil family together :) We cook dinner together all the time, goto the park, bowling, Six Flags, and ofcourse, go out together as a group. Blake is like my little brother, and several people have asked us if we really are siblings, and how ironic, for my real older brother is also named Blake!
I MET MARY CHERRY!!! We worked this BEAUTIFUL wedding rehearsal dinner Friday night and then the reception Saturday night, and Leslie Grossman, aka the fabulous Mary Cherry from Popular was there with her husband, who was the best man! All of you that know me know that me and Scot worship Ms. Cherry and have had several "Mary Cherry Nights" ever since the 1st season came out on dvd. And how crazy is it that this hardly-known actress showed up at an event WE worked! Anyways, we talked to her for like 20 minutes, took some pictures, chatted it up, and got her email address! And this Saturday night I was assigned her table and she talked to me throughout most of the night! We are so like, BFF!! Like, woah. Chuck Norris was there too, haha.
