It's been a long week - one of my regular assessment panels yesterday, with all the prep, nervous energy and looooong Teams time that implies. Followed by All The Admin, which will keep me going most of next week, after which I have an actual week off. I've often done that in the spring and summer after the other panels but never had enough leave

Frans Hals, the male portrait, at the Wallace Collection. It was really, really good - small but you wanted to look at every item for ages. Also a brilliant audioguide, which I don't often say.
